Senior Services

Why give up a lifetime of independence if you don’t have to? The YWCA of Greater Portland Senior Services Programs provide resources designed to help our senior citizens lead healthier, more independent lives. These programs work hard to allow seniors to remain safe in their own homes for as long as possible. In-home assessments are required to determine eligibility for services. Each program also provides a centralized access point for seniors to receive information and assistance.

Available services include:

  • advocacy
  • case management
  • transportation assistance
  • housekeeping
  • respite for caregivers
  • personal care
  • tax and legal assistance
  • adult day care
  • senior fitness classes
  • activities
  • information and assistance
