Janette McMurran - Kunkel, Director Camp Programs
Janette thinks that camp is the perfect job for her since she loves to play and explore--especially in Portland! This is her second year working with YWCA Camp Westwind and brings over 18 years of camp and non-profit experience to the YWCA. She has an avid passion for camping and it's impact on people of all ages, including her two daughters! Outside of camp she loves traveling, live music shows and peppermint ice cream.

Tonya Parson, Learn Links Program Manager
Tonya has a B.A. in History and Political Science and joined the YWCA in 2000 with over 16 years experience working in youth programs. She has developed and facilitated interactive education groups and coordinated after-school programs for under served youth that empower and inspire. Tonya believes the greatest joy her work brings is the ability to share her passion for the humanities. Tonya enjoys ceramics, road trips with her daughter, camping, surfing, and will befriend anyone who can have more than a three-minute conversation about why dictionaries are the best gift to give or receive.
