What Youth Services Is:

Youth Services encompasses three programs of the YWCA of Greater Portland:

  • Camp Westwind a traditional co-ed residential camp near Lincoln City, OR.
  • Camp Westwind in the City an urban based day camp in downtown Portland.
  • LearnLinks an after school homework and mentoring program in the Greater Portland area.

All YWCA Youth Programs have these underlying goals:

  • Creating a fun and safe environment for youth to learn and explore
  • Cultivating new experiences
  • Building a community that encourages awareness of self as well as others
  • Encouraging youth to gain valuable independence and leadership skills

Who We Serve:

Camp Westwind serves youth entering 1st grade through 12th grade as well as family camp opportunities.

Camp Westwind in the City serves youth from 5-14 years of age. As well as volunteer opportunities for youth 16-18 years of age.
