2009-2010 Leadership Board
Established in 2008, this exuberant group of young professionals has come together to help engage the next generation in supporting the YWCA of Greater Portland’s mission. Comprised of professionals under the age of 35, this Board is active in fundraising, advocacy, outreach and marketing activities to help build the recognition of the services the YWCA provides throughout the Portland Metro Area.
In June of 2009, the YWCA Leadership Board hosted their first ever fundraiser – a Karaoke bash to benefit the YWCA at the offices of Wieden + Kennedy. This wonderful event was attended by over 300 people and helped raise over $20,000 to support the programs of the YWCA. Thank you Portland YWCA Leadership Board!!!
